The passion of writing

My first terror, at just six years old, wasn't a monster under the bed, it was letters at school, because, unbeknownst to me at the time, I was dyslexic. Once I understood them, the monster became my friend, my confidant, and helped me break the silence within me.

The standard writer transcribes his ideas and emotions with enthusiasm and passion; but the real art of writing is to write a comedy when one is going through a tragedy. It is to write with a torn soul when it can barely hold on to survive. It is to write with hunger and need, and yet not give up. It is to write with pain and cracked hands, the most beautiful texts. The art of writing is not to use fancy words to impress, but the most precise and simple words that touch the reader's soul. Writing is the action of stripping the senses and making those who read its lines dream. The art of writing is to revalue the power of words.

To write with art is to be at death's door, and to remember that there is still a chapter to continue. It is the gift of provoking an orgasm of emotions, kidnapping the reader and immersing him in the environment of our stories, and not letting him go, until he becomes our accomplice. The art of writing is to evoke other people's memories, requited loves, broken hearts, and maybe even dear absences. It is to transform the sound of the keyboard when writing, in the beating of our heart and make it an electrocardiogram on the white page. Writing with art is a series of caresses that awaken the senses, with subtle words and sensual grammar, turning the reader into a lover. It is to crumble the emotions and blur the eyes in front of the screen, because there is no better confidant than the action of writing with the naked soul, and fill the empty lines with our secrets.

The writer who exercises his art, takes the muse and makes it his own, until he leaves it exhausted and transformed into a series of words, which will incarnate in the being who discovers it. To write with art is to instruct silence, so that the written words speak in the echo of thoughts, and to exalt in a text, stolen sighs, emotional tears, forbidden desires, lost longings, inspiring dreams, liberating secrets and a forgotten memory. The art of writing is the virtue of falling in love and seducing your reader. It is to die the writer in time, but never in the immortal pages of the reader who evokes him, glorifying his art. No one will write about me, because that is my work and my passion, and I will leave my soul in the pen, until the last drop of blood emanates from it, made ink, made word, and only oblivion can erase it.
